The show will take place in New York City

SiriusXM has announced that four-time Grammy Award-winning global rock superstars Green Day will perform a special exclusive small-stage concert for SiriusXM at New York City’s iconic Irving Plaza on Thursday, January 18th.

SiriusXM Small Stage Series with Green Day presented by Carnival Cruise Line will commemorate the release of the punk icon’s upcoming album, Saviors, out January 19th. Attendees will get the exclusive opportunity to hear the band perform songs from the album ahead of its release live in concert, along with other fan favorites. Adding to the fanfare, this marks a rare appearance for the band at Irving Plaza, just their fourth since their first show in 1994, which took place shortly after their iconic album Dookie was released and propelled them into superstardom.

SiriusXM subscribers can enter for a chance to win tickets to see Green Day perform, through the SiriusXM app on Green Day Radio through Monday, January 8th.

The band has also launched their own SiriusXM pop-up channel, Green Day Radio, which brings three decades of groundbreaking punk exploration and innovation in celebration of Saviors and the 30th anniversary of Dookie and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot.

The channel will feature exclusive stories and insight from each band member as they walk listeners through their biggest tracks, new music from their upcoming album, and artists who have inspired them throughout their legendary career.

Green Day Radio will also be the place for fans to experience Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool’s exclusive performance live. The show will air in its entirety on Green Day Radio (ch. 107) and will also be available to stream on the SiriusXM app. Additionally, the concert will air on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM channel, Howard 101.

“Green Day has continued to exemplify rock music for almost 30 years with iconic albums that continue to resonate with fans both new and old,” states SiriusXM’s Scott Greenstein. “We are thrilled to bring our listeners and their fans this exclusive show celebrating the band’s milestones.”

Green Day Radio will be available to subscribers nationwide in their cars on channel 107 and the newly refreshed SiriusXM app through January 23rd.

Saviors is the band’s 14th studio album and will be available via Reprise/Warner Records. The band debuted “The American Dream Is Killing Me” and “Look Ma, No Brains!” off the new album live in October during their triumphant and electrifying Las Vegas takeover, consisting of a sold-out surprise show at the 800-capacity Fremont and back-to-back headlining performances at When We Were Young Festival. Recorded in London and Los Angeles, Saviors is the latest powerful collaboration between Green Day and Grammy-winning producer Rob Cavallo, who helmed Dookie and American Idiot.

The band will also launch a massive global stadium tour in 2024 with support from the illustrious rock luminaries The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas in North America and Nothing But Thieves, The Hives, Donots, The Interrupters and Maid of Ace in the UK and Europe. The Saviors Tour, fueled by Monster Energy, kicks off with the European run on May 30th in Monte De Gozo, Spain and travels through France, Germany and Italy, before reaching the UK, including a huge London show at the legendary Wembley Stadium on June 29th. The North American run, produced by Live Nation, begins shortly after on July 29th at Nationals Park in Washington, DC and makes 27 stops across North America in cities such as Toronto, ON; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA and many more before wrapping up in San Diego, CA at Petco Park on September 28th.
