Video is directed by Alev Aydin

Halsey has shared the official video for “So Good,” directed by Alev Aydin, Halsey’s partner.

The pair teamed with Samsung to highlight how technology plays a part in our everyday lives, and also how it can inspire creativity and encourage storytelling at every level. To help the couple share their memories throughout the video, Samsung also provided its new Freestyle – a portable device that projects and adjusts to virtually every surface.

“The film we created for ‘So Good’ really tells the full story of the song in the way I intended,” explained Halsey. “Samsung helped us share our vision, giving us the creative freedom we needed to make something we are really proud of. Using the Freestyle, Alev and I were able to share a glimpse of the way that we fell in love: watching romantic films together. But this time, the Freestyle is playing real home movies from our life together. For us, this makes ‘So Good’ come to life in a really special way that we’re so excited share with fans.”

Following a sold out show in Toronto, Halsey will headline Governors Ball in New York City this Saturday, June 11th, and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 21st. The Marías and Abby Roberts are the supporting acts on the remaining Love and Power Tour dates, with Wolf Alice appearing on June 21st in place of The Marías.

Last week, as Halsey celebrated the fifth anniversary of the release of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, the RIAA announced that the album had attained 2x Platinum status. Halsey’s third album, Manic, is also double Platinum. Both albums debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart – as did 2021’s If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.
