Hardy, Beartooth release ‘The Better Me’

The new single is available now

Hardy and Beartooth have joined forces for “The Better Me.” The epic collaboration is a product of the friendship and mutual musical admiration between Hardy and Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo. Hardy spoke about their relationship and getting Shomo’s advice on best scream/singing practices with Billboard earlier this year, in tandem with the release of his half-country, half-rock sophomore album, The Mockingbird & The Crow.

“I’ve always been a Beartooth fan,” Hardy says. “I’m excited we finally got to do something together and I’m honored to be part of their new record.”

“There are times where we feel like there is a way better version of ourselves somewhere deep inside that we need to find and bring back to the forefront of our lives,” Shomo adds. “This song is about going through the things that brought me to that conclusion. Simply put, I made a choice to be a better me.”

Both Beartooth and Hardy are currently in the Top 15 on the active rock radio charts and climbing, with Beartooth’s “Might Love Myself” up two slots this week to No. 14, and Hardy’s “Sold Out” at No. 11.

“The Better Me” appears on Beartooth’s forthcoming album, The Surface, due on October 13th via Red Bull Records. The album will be released on a variety of formats, including CD, cassette and several vinyl variants.

Hardy is currently flying nationwide on his sold out, 19-date headline arena tour, The Mockingbird & The Crow Tour.
