Hardy has suffered from anxiety stemming from a bus accident

Hardy has canceled two shows and postponed another due to being hospitalized for anxiety over the bus accident he and his crew were in last October. The country star says he’s been suffering from panic attacks and needs to regain his focus.

“I need to be honest with everyone for a second. I’ve been dealing with some serious anxiety since the bus accident last year and over the last two weeks, it has taken control of my life. It’s caused me to suffer many panic attacks which have landed me in the hospital. I need a moment to focus on me and to make myself better for my wife, family and you, the fans,” the country star shares.

“Unfortunately, I will need to cancel the two The Mockingbird & The Crow Fall Tour shows on Oct. 5th & 7th. Refunds for these two shows will be available from point of purchase. The Georgia Rodeo show will be moved to April 12, 2024. Hold on to your tickets, they will be valid for the new 2024 date.

“My plan is to be back and focused on October 12th. Thank you for understanding, see you soon.”

The accident happened on October 2, 2022 when Hardy’s tour bus ran off the highway at 70 mph and flipped into the woods while en route from Briston, TN to Nashville following a tour stop. The four people on the bus — Hardy, his bus driver, photographer and manager — were all knocked unconscious and received significant injuries.

“Within what felt like 3 seconds, our bodies were thrown across the room knocking us all unconscious. By the grace of God, we all survived. My injuries included a shattered foot, a punctured lung, 4 broken ribs, and a fractured vertebrae in my neck. And yes, it’s been fucking terrible,” photographer Tanner Gallagher shares of the incident. “Although I sit here in pain, wrapped up in casts and hardly able to move for the next few weeks/months, I need to point out something important. I was told numerous times by doctors that it was a miracle that we survived…”

Hardy’s sold out The Mockingbird & The Crow Tour resumes October 12th in Jonesboro, AR and runs through December 2nd in Springfield, MO. Reigning CMA New Artist and Female Vocalist of the Year Lainey Wilson and buzzy Sony Music Nashville signing Dylan Marlowe are supporting the trek.
