Hunter Hayes releases a new single, “Every Piece,” alongside the official music video via LP Entertainment.
“When I sat down to write with Sam Ellis and John Mark Nelson, I wanted to capture what it feels like to be loved by those rare, special people in our lives who see not just the picture of you, but every piece that makes up that picture. That experience of being loved deeply, fully and unconditionally. This goes out to that someone who loves you in a way that finally lets you see the best parts of yourself,” Hayes says.
The emotionally charged, groove-laden track reflects a celebration of deep connection. Driven by infectious rhythms and a feel-good energy, Hayes’ signature instrumentation is on full display. With catchy hooks and heartfelt clarity, “Every Piece” blends pop, soul, and a touch of country charm to create a song that feels both intimate and electric. The lyrics speak to the kind of love that helps someone rediscover who they are and what matters most and about finding purpose through the steady presence of someone who offers strength and support when times are uncertain.
In the video, Hayes delivers an intimate, stripped-back performance featuring just himself and his guitar. Set in a room strewn with scattered paper airplanes, each one representing a fragment of an untold story, the video visually amplifies the song’s emotional core, capturing the raw sense of longing woven into the lyrics.
“Every Piece” follows Hayes’ single, “Fragile,” and further cements his reputation as a genre-defying artist whose ever-evolving storytelling leaves a lasting emotional impact on listeners. With more new music on the horizon, fans can expect the same heartfelt songwriting and rich instrumentation that have established Hayes as a compelling voice in modern music, unafraid to blur boundaries and connect deeply through every note.
