The upcoming film will be released on December 5th
RM of 21st-century pop icons BTS premiered the highly anticipated trailer for his first documentary film, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, produced by Hybe. The Lee Seok-jun-directed documentary will have its global release on December 5th with tickets officially on sale starting November 6th in over 90 countries and regions worldwide. Secondary global ticket sales are scheduled to open on November 20th. CJ 4DPlex will distribute.
The film captures RM’s journey over eight months as he works on his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, reflecting both the continuous challenges of the person he is off the stage (Kim Namjoon) and his genuine commitment to and love for his art.
The newly released trailer features RM, the leader of BTS and a solo artist, performing and creating music while also pulling back the curtain to show the person Kim Namjoon enjoying his ordinary life. The first look of the film offers glimpses of RM’s inner thoughts as he grapples with questions: “I have no idea what lies ahead, but it feels like this is what I wanted to do from the beginning. How honest can I be as RM, or Kim Namjoon?” This contrast between RM and Kim Namjoon, along with much more, will be seen in the upcoming documentary directed by Lee Seok-jun.
RM: Right People, Wrong Place premiered earlier this year at the Open Cinema section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival.
