Ice Cube, Ne-Yo & Too Short pay homage to Raiders

Track is a new sports anthem

Ice Cube, NE-YO and Too $hort have teamed for “Raider Colors” featuring Rayven Justice and DJ Nina 9.” The new track is a celebratory sports anthem that pays homage to the Raiders’ NFL organization that moved to Las Vegas following stints in Oakland and Los Angeles.

With the 2021 NFL Season formally kicking off this weekend, the trio paired up to commemorate the Raiders’ legacies in their respective hometowns, considering Cube is a Los Angeles native, $hort is an Oakland native and NE-YO was raised in Las Vegas.

Before the Raiders moved to Las Vegas in 2020, the franchise spent 12 years in Los Angeles from 1982-1994 and a total of 45 years in Oakland from 1960-1981 and 1995-2019, so the representation from Cube, $hort and NE-YO on “Raider Colors” embodies all aspects of the team’s renowned football history.
