Taking place on February 15th from 6-10 pm at Tim Cantor’s Art Gallery at 527 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, this exclusive celebration invites guests to experience Cantor’s mesmerizing work up close. Fans of both fine art and music will have the rare chance to immerse themselves in the vivid imagery that brought Smoke + Mirrors to life—an album that soared to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and cemented Cantor’s impact in both the art and music worlds.
A self-taught prodigy, Cantor painted his first oil piece at just five years old and held his first gallery exhibition at 15, with one of his works earning a place in the White House. His deeply emotive, surrealist paintings have captivated audiences worldwide, from New York to Paris, Tokyo to Venice. Known for hidden symbols and layered storytelling, his work masterfully blends mystery, emotion, and dreamlike beauty.
In 2015, Cantor’s visionary art became the soul of Smoke + Mirrors—from its album cover and 13 song-inspired paintings to the band’s stage visuals and “Shots” music video. His pieces traveled the globe alongside Imagine Dragons, captivating audiences and leaving an indelible mark on the band’s identity.
This one-night-only event will showcase select pieces from the Smoke + Mirrors collection, giving guests an intimate, immersive look at Cantor’s artistry.
On April 25th, KIDinaKORNER/Interscope will release an expanded edition of Smoke + Mirrors, the band’s sophomore record. The double platinum album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has achieved over 7.8 billion streams and six million in global consumption since its release. The hit single, “I Bet My Life,” is RIAA-certified triple platinum with over 960 million streams to date. Reflections (from the Vault of Smoke + Mirrors) features 13 never-before-heard demos from the Smoke + Mirrors era, presented on ocean blue color vinyl.
