Various elements include entertainment, hospitality and shopping

HYBE announced the launch of The City project that will transform the entire city of Las Vegas into BTS City during the BTS Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas taking place on April 8, 9, 15 and 16. The K-pop superstars are headlining a series of sold out shows at Allegiant Stadium. With its concept, “urban concert playpark,” The City will provide an extensive and immersive fan experience by installing entertainment activations and hosting events throughout Las Vegas before and after the concert.

Through April 17th, fans will be able to enjoy — beyond the concert — various programs including entertainment, hospitality and shopping through and around the Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Strip. The project is expected to allow the whole city to resemble BTS City.

HYBE plans to provide fans a wide range of entertainment in The City for fans that let them experience beyond watching BTS’ performances. The Fountains of Bellagio, will be choreographed to BTS’ music. The Fountains of Bellagio will create spectacular scenery along with its striking streams of water tuned with BTS songs and brilliant lighting that will spice up BTS City. In particular, fans will be able to enjoy BTS-themed Fountains of Bellagio shows every hour during concert weekends.

Behind the Stage: Permission to Dance, a photography exhibition will be held at AREA 15. Photos of BTS practicing for the tour that started last year and behind-the-scenes of the Seoul concert in March will be displayed. After each concert, the energy continues into the night with Part in the City, an after party with BTS’ songs, will be hosted at Jewel Nightclub at ARIA Resort & Casino.

In partnership with MGM Resorts International, HYBE will be offering BTS themed rooms in 11 hotels across the Las Vegas Strip through April 18th. These rooms will include a welcome message card and door hanger engraved with BTS’ handwriting and photo cards. Additionally, guests will be offered limited edition merch packages at a discounted price. Fans will also be able to enjoy BTS members’ favorite Korean meals at the Cafe in the City, located at Noodle Shop and Sea Breeze Cafe at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. All fans can indulge in BTS’ favorite Korean dishes such as spicy noodles, chicken, and a fish-shaped bun.

BTS Pop-Up: Permission to Dance in Las Vegas’ will offer not only official tour merch but also other BTS themed clothes, fashion props and fancy goods. In particular, the ‘City Signature’ t-shirt of Las Vegas will be exclusively available at the pop-up store. HYBE will also operate merch stores at the Allegiant Stadium and the MGM Grand Garden Arena for fans to easily access official merchs and cheering sticks during performances and live plays. Fans can easily collect Weverse Shop ordered products at the Weverse Shop on-site receipt booth.

HYBE has also opened the Map & Wait Times, a service that provides program locations and wait times for the shows as well as the concert via the Weverse app. The Map & Wait Times will be available until April 17th, will feature the venue map for the concerts live play, and The City, as well as the specifics for booth locations, wait times, and URLs for online channels.

With the service, fans can check for the specifics of the Allegiant Stadium, MGM Grand Garden Arena, pop-up stores, restaurants, 11 hotels that offer BTS themed rooms and many other attractions. Fans will also be able to check in advance for waiting time regarding merch stores and pop-up stores within the stadium and the live play venue.

First launched at BTS’ Love Yourself: Speak Yourself (The Final) concert in Seoul in October 2019, the Map & Wait Times has been appreciated by fans as it allowed for a more convenient and pleasant experience by providing information as to waiting time and easier way to receive merch. As such, HYBE brought back the service to Las Vegas to provide a more convenient fan experience at The City.
