New project is available now

Critically acclaimed K-Pop superstars Itzy released their highly anticipated new EP, Kill My Doubt, today (Mon, July 31st) across all digital and streaming platforms, through JYP Entertainment/Imperial/Republic Records. Featuring six new tracks, the mini album arrives amidst a flurry of viral moments the group has had over the last month, which include the release of three music videos for album tracks “Bet On Me,” “None of My Business,” and their latest, “Cake,” which is now available. All three music videos now impressively boast over 15-million views collectively, helping solidify Itzy as one of K-Pop’s dominating forces.

Itzy made a monumental return to the scene this past May at the inaugural New York City Head in the Clouds Festival where they gave an unforgettable performance for thousands of fans. Prior to that, the group had last been seen State-side in the fall of 2022 for their sold out Checkmate world tour, in which they performed in eight cities across the US, including Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater and New York’s Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. That tour was in support of the group’s fifth mini album, Checkmate, which took the No. 8 spot on the Billboard 200 chart upon release, marking the group’s first top 10 ranking on the chart. Further, the group became the fourth K-pop girl group to achieve a top 10 ranking on the Billboard 200. The group performed the EP’s lead single, “Sneakers,” on both MTV’s Fresh Out Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show Me Music.” Quickly following this achievement, it was announced that the group was nominated for their first MTV VMA in the category of Best K-Pop for their “Loco” music video.

In 2021, the group broke numerous personal records on both the charts and with streams, as well. In January of that year, the group made their first national US broadcast appearance on MTV’s Fresh Out Live, racking in the largest performance views MTV had received for the platform. They followed this up with their spring EP, Guess Who, which marked the group’s debut on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart, peaking at No. 148. In September 2021, the group released their first full-length studio album, Crazy in Love, which took the No. 1 spot across multiple Billboard charts upon debut, including Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Albums, Tastemaker Albums, and Independent Albums charts. The release also made a strong debut on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart where it reached No. 11, making Itzy only the third female K-pop group that scored within the chart’s top 15.
