Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening announces fall 2025 tour dates

The band adds 26 more dates to celebrate Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti

Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening (JBLZE) has added 26 more dates for this fall to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Led Zeppelin classic Physical Graffiti. An Evening With JBLZE Celebrating 50 Years Of Physical Graffiti sees the group performing all the songs from the groundbreaking double album that fans have been clamoring to hear, including classics such as “The Wanton Song” and “Kashmir” live alongside deeper cuts like “In The Light” and “Boogie With Stu.”

The evening also features Zeppelin favorites “Good Times Bad Times,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “Stairway To Heaven,” and others. As the current leg wraps on August 31st in Vancouver, the new run starts on October 22nd in Louisville with stops through November 26th in Hollywood, Florida.

Physical Graffiti is Zeppelin’s sixth studio project, released as a double album on February 24, 1975, in the United States and February 28, 1975, in the United Kingdom. It was the band’s first album to be released on their own label, Swan Song Records.

The album is known for its incredible musical diversity, showcasing the band’s mastery across various genres, including hard rock, progressive rock, rock ‘n’ roll, and folk. It’s a sprawling and ambitious work, featuring a mix of newly recorded material and tracks that were leftovers from previous album sessions. This allowed for a wide range of stylistic exploration.

The iconic album cover, designed by Peter Corriston, features a photograph of two five-story apartment buildings located at 96 and 98 St. Mark’s Place in Manhattan’s East Village in New York City. The buildings were altered for the cover art to appear as four-story buildings to fit the square album format.

The cover’s genius lies in its die-cut windows, which allowed the inner sleeves to show through. These inner sleeves featured various images, including famous figures like Lee Harvey Oswald, Neil Armstrong, Judy Garland, Laurel & Hardy, and even the members of Led Zeppelin themselves. When arranged, the album title and track listing could also be seen through the windows. The title Physical Graffiti was coined by Jimmy Page to represent the “physical and written energy” that went into creating the album, as well as the idea of the music being a “graffiti” on tape.

Upon its release, Physical Graffiti was a massive critical and commercial success. It debuted at No. 1 in the UK and reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 in the US for six weeks. It has since been certified 16 times platinum in the United States.
