Jimmy Fallon teases Taylor Swift ‘Tonight Show’ appearance

The pop star will appear to support her 12th studio album

Jimmy Fallon has been teasing Taylor Swift’s upcoming appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which is now confirmed for Monday, October 6th.

The host dropped a cryptic video on social media with a series of “Easter eggs” that fans quickly deciphered. In the video, Fallon is seen at a roulette table, placing bets on the numbers 10, 6, and 25, which fans interpreted as the date, October 6, 2025. The wheel then lands on the number 13, which is Swift’s lucky number.

Other clues included Fallon saying the phrase, “Baby, that’s show business for you,” which is the title of one of Swift’s Spotify playlists, and a reference to her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. At the end of the clip, he walks past three showgirls in costumes similar to those on the album’s cover art.

Fallon also captioned the video with “Not a lot going on at the moment,” a phrase Swift has used in the past to hint at upcoming projects.

The appearance will be her seventh on the show and is strategically timed for just three days after the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3rd via Republic Records.

Cinemark Holdings is welcoming Taylor Swift back to its big screens with Taylor Swift | The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, celebrating her 12th studio album. Swifties can take in her newest music and accompanying curated visuals at Cinemark theaters across its U.S. footprint from Friday, October 3rd, at 3 pm ET through Sunday, October 5th. Theatergoers will also get to experience the world premiere of “The Fate of Ophelia” music video.
