Joe Bonamassa announces two London Royal Albert Hall performances

The performances will be held in May 2026

Blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, with J&R Adventures and N&P Touring, is pleased to announce two consecutive nights at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday, May 6th, and Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Presales start on Wednesday, October 1st, ahead of the general sale on Friday, October 3rd.

Backed by a stellar band of outstanding at the top of their game, the set list for this show will feature new songs from Bonamassa’s latest critically acclaimed album Breakthrough, alongside career-spanning favorites. By exceeding his own vertiginously high artistic goals, Bonamassa’s Breakthrough album has shattered all expectations by becoming his 29th No. 1 Billboard Blues Album (more than any other artist in history). Bonamassa’s fascinating career rise and music trajectory have built steadily over the years and continue to gain momentum.

“I am looking forward to returning to the Royal Albert Hall again,” Bonamassa shares. “This will be the 12th and 13th time that I will play this remarkable venue. It holds a lot of meaning in my heart. I can’t wait to entertain the crowds and play this historic venue again.”

Early next year will see the release of B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100, produced by Grammy-nominated duo Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, an extraordinary collaborative tribute album celebrating the legacy of one of music’s most iconic figures. Thirty-two songs will be released in monthly instalments through February 2026, culminating in the arrival of the full digital album and the 2 CD and 3 LP vinyl on February 6th.

The album includes jaw-dropping reinterpretations of King’s most iconic songs by an unprecedented collection of blues legends, rock icons, soul powerhouses, and rising stars. The first five tracks available now include collaborations with Michael McDonald, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, Bobby Rush, George Benson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and D.K. Harrell.
