Guitarist will make two special Wentworth Gallery appearances

Legendary guitarist Joe Satriani is planning two additional outings as a touring visual artist with showings coming to two Wentworth Gallery locations in March 2023. The rocker will perform a private, intimate concert for Wentworth clients at the end of each show on Saturday, March 11th at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and Sunday, March 12th at the King of Prussia location.

After debuting his new artwork, Beyond Reality, last year at the Wentworth Florida locations, Satriani has been busy preparing additional one of a kind pieces for these new exhibits including original canvases and hand painted guitars.

“Music and art are my passions. I like making the invisible, visible, and the unimaginable, real,” Satriani states. “The image on a canvas, or, an electric guitar for that matter, can make you feel something unexpected and revealing, something that is the beginning of a greater personal insight. Challenging the straight line and the concepts of what belongs with what excites me. I want to experience new color combinations to make me see beyond the prevailing reality. There’s a balance between seriousness and humor that can imbue in a painting a kind of resilience and longevity, making it forever contemporary. When I paint and play my guitar, I strive to be in a state of exhilaration and communicate that feeling to my fans.”

Satriani continues his Earth Tour this spring. He’ll kick it off on April 1st in Oslo, Norway with stops throughout Europe through June 4th in Bordeaux, France.
