Mitchell will make her Grammy performance debut

Nine-time Grammy Award winner Joni Mitchell will perform at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. This will be Mitchell’s first-ever performance at the Grammy Awards. She is currently nominated for Best Folk Album for Joni Mitchell at Newport [Live].

Mitchell received a Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002, having been described as “one of the most important female recording artists of the rock era” and “a powerful influence on all artists who embrace diversity, imagination and integrity.”

Previously announced Grammy Awards performers include Burna Boy, Luke Combs, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, and U2, who is also making history as the first-ever broadcast performance from the Las Vegas Sphere.

Live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and hosted by Trevor Noah, Music’s Biggest Night will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 4th at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. Before the Telecast, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 pm PT and will be streamed live on live.grammy.com.

Sza leads the 66th Annual Grammy Awards nominations with nine followed by Phoebe Bridges, Serban Ghenea and Victoria Monét with seven each, Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, BoyGenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift all with six apiece. As the only peer-voted music award, the Grammy Awards are selected by the Recording Academy’s voting membership body of music makers, who represent all genres and creative disciplines, including recording artists, songwriters, composers, producers, mixers, and engineers.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards will be produced by Fulwell 73 Productions for the Recording Academy for the fourth consecutive year. Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, and Jesse Collins are executive producers.
