Braun will represent rapper in all areas globally

Scooter Braun’s SB Projects has signed Atlantic Records’ breakout rapper and hip hop recording sensation, Kaliii. Kaliii is the latest addition to SB Projects’ top-tier roster that includes Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, The Kid Laroi, Ozuna, Quavo and more.

The rising star kicked off 2023 with her viral hit single, “Area Codes,” which quickly led to several regional remixes as part of her #ToxicThursday release series including New York’s Kenzo B on the “718 Remix,” the Bay Area’s Lil Kayla on the “415 Remix,” and St. Louis’s Sexyy Red on the “314 Remix” and more. Adding to this momentum, the single just received a 2023 Streamy Award nomination in the inaugural Rolling Stone Sound of the Year category.

The deal comes on the heels of Kaliii’s hit collaboration with K-pop group, Fifty Fifty, titled “Barbie Dreams,” featured on the Barbie motion picture soundtrack.

TikTok’s new rising artist platform, Elevate, recently announced Kaliii as one of the six artists who will be featured as part of its inaugural program which will run through October.

Kaliii’s latest single, “KToven,” an innovative mashup of Beethoven’s “Für Elise” with a Jersey club beat, dropped last week.

This fall, Kaliii will embark on a highly anticipated 13-date US tour with A Boogie wit Da Hoodie.

Kali’s had a landmark year with 2022. After the release of her highly acclaimed EP Toxic Chocolate, Kali was admitted into the XXL 2022 Freshman Class. This momentous, career-defining feat was supported by her thrilling freestyle and cypher performances streaming now. She continued her run with the release of the singles “FNF (Freestyle)” and “Wet” with each visual at over a combined one million views via YouTube.

Toxic Chocolate – available now at all DSPs and streaming services – arrived earlier in 2022 amidst both popular and critical acclaim. The EP is highlighted by the incendiary singles, “UonU (Feat. Yung Bleu)“ and “Standards,” the latter of which had its exclusive premiere – alongside Kali’s debut interview – on Apple Music’s New Music Daily Radio with Zane Lowe. Kali then increased the power of Toxic Chocolate with the surprise addition of the fan favorite “Chainzzz” featuring Muni Long as well as a revised sequence. The arrival of Toxic Chocolate was further joined by an electrifying performance of the EP standout, “New Day,” filmed exclusively for Uproxx Sessions.

After raking in over 100 million streams, Kali is ready to take her career to new heights with a new love, new music, and a new focus. The rapstress followed up the EP with a flurry of singles and freestyles including “Wet” and “Bout U.”
