Marlowe earns People’s Choice Country Awards nomination for New Artist Song with “Tennessee Don’t Mind”
Country music triple threat Kameron Marlowe has added another accolade to his growing list of achievements, earning another Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certification for his hit track, “Steady Heart.” Marlowe’s Sony Music Nashville team surprised him with a plaque commemorating the RIAA gold certification at the Nashville-based office earlier this week. “Steady Heart,” featured on his debut album, We Were Cowboys, has remained a standout from Marlowe’s catalog. “Steady Heart” follows in the footsteps of Marlowe’s previous RIAA certifications for “Giving You Up,” earning platinum status in the US and gold in Australia, while “Girl On Fire” and “Burn ‘Em All” received gold certifications.
Further evidence of his explosive momentum, Marlowe nabbed his first nomination from the People’s Choice Country Awards for the lead track off his sophomore album Keepin’ The Lights On with “Tennessee Don’t Mind” in the New Artist Song of 2024 category. This recognition comes on the heels of his just-released collaboration with critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Marcus King as the two ignited a fire with their new rendition of “High Hopes.”
Marlowe continues to grind on the road this summer, energizing crowds across the country. He recently made his morning television debut headlining on Fox & Friends’ All American Concert Series to perform his current radio single “Strangers” and other fan favorites live from Fox Square in New York City.
Fresh off his Strangers Tour with special guest Tucker Wetmore and the summer’s hottest fairs and festivals, Marlowe will embark on his Keepin’ The Lights On World Tour 2024 in September, selling out venues across the US, Canada and Europe. Having performed over 200+ shows in the last two years of his career, Marlowe has shared the spotlight with artists such as Thomas Rhett, Riley Green, Lainey Wilson and many more, and has appeared at major festivals including Stagecoach, Country to Country, CMC Rocks, Windy City Smokeout and Watershed.
