Album release takes place in Atlanta once again
Kanye West is hosting the second Donda album release listening event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday, August 5th at 9 pm ET. The Donda album release event creative direction is by Demna Gvasalia and is sponsored by Live Nation.
Tickets go on sale Monday, August 2nd at 10 am EST at via Ticketmaster. Tickets for this event are $30 to $75.
The event follows last week’s at the same venue which featured a masked West parading on the stage while playing the album. That event broke an Apple Music Global Livestream record with 3.3 million viewers.
West has been living at Mercedes-Benz Arena where he’s inspired to finish the album. The rapper shared an Instagram photo of his makeshift home that features a bed, TV and an open suitcase. West has also designed a recording studio and has even brought in a chef to prepare meals until the album is finished.
The album is expected to drop on August 6th.
