Kashus Culpepper drops ‘Believe’

The song drops ahead of a newly announced fall headlining tour

Acclaimed Southern crooner Kashus Culpepper continues to drop the needle on timeless songs that reflect his fusion of influences – country, soul, blues, folk and rock with “Believe.”

“’Believe’ is a song I wrote with one of my musical idols, Foy Vance. It’s about my faith, and how no matter how dark life gets, I really believe there are angels around me, making sure I don’t fall too far into the darkness,” shares Culpepper, who Elton John described as “If Bill Withers made country music.”

A staple of his impactful live set, “Believe,” like each of his releases to date, was produced by Brian Elmquist, recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and is characterized by its soulfulness.

The new song follows the summer’s lauded collaboration “Broken Wing Bird” featuring Sierra Ferrell, along with “Man of His Word,” and others.

Earlier this week, Culpepper announced his upcoming headlining run through the fall, taking his soulful sound on the road to markets throughout the U.S., including stops in Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, Fort Worth, Texas, and more. Following recent dates with Leon Bridges, Whiskey Myers, and Dylan Gossett, he joins forthcoming dates with Darius Rucker and Sierra Ferrell this fall.
