Kelsea Ballerini signs with Sony/ATV Publishing

Ballerini is working on new material

Kelsea Ballerini has signed with Sony/ATV Publishing to create a one-of-a-kind pairing that’s bound to create even more history in the songstress’ career. Ballerini is the first female country artist to have her first three singles, Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” and “Peter Pan,” reach No. 1.

“It feels like a full circle joining the Sony/ATV family, and I’m so excited to continue to grow as a songwriter under their incredible team,” states Ballerini.

CEO of Sony/ATV Troy Tomlinson was one of the biggest influences in Ballerini moving to Nashville and starting her career. “Having known Kelsea since she was 13 years old and seeing her songwriting grow over the years makes it even more special to be able to come alongside her as her publisher,” says Tomlinson. “With all her abilities to perform and entertain fans worldwide, she remains, as always, at her core a gifted songwriter.”

Ballerini had been with Black River Publishing since her start in 2013. The singer is still a Black River Entertainment artist and is currently planning her newest project as the fourth and final single from her debut The First Time enters the Top 5. More details on her upcoming project to follow soon.

Ballerini can be seen on tour this summer with Lady Antebellum and Brett Young. The You Look Good Tour kicks off tonight (May 26th) in Bakersfield, CA. The Music Universe will be in attendance to review the show. Look for our recap later tonight or tomorrow (Sat).
