The song appears on his forthcoming third album
Multi-platinum-selling global superstar Khalid releases his new single “Ground.” This follows the previously released singles “Adore U” and “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me.” All three offerings will be featured on Khalid’s highly anticipated third album Sincere, which is releasing August 2nd via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records.
The album showcases Khalid’s evolution as an artist and person and explores the all-too-relatable feelings of growing up. His irresistible soulful vocals and unfiltered lyricism are on full display.
Khalid, who was named one of TIME’s Most Influential People of 2019, has taken the world by storm since his first single, the RIAA-certified diamond “Location” (released right before his high school graduation) exploded onto the scene leading to a major label deal with Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records followed by the release of his debut album, the certified four-time platinum, American Teen. His sophomore album Free Spirit, released to critical acclaim in 2019, has been certified two-time platinum, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200, and features the Grammy-nominated multi-format No. 1 single “Talk.”
