Emerging country sensation Kidd G delivers latest single “Ain’t Just A Kid” via Rebel Music/Geffen Records. The song is an authentic country anthem arriving just in time for the end of summer. Recorded at Rockstar Energy Spotlight Studios, the track starts off strong with a pulsing drum beat, building anticipation until Kidd G’s vocals take over with his signature raspy Georgia twang. Known for his genre-purveying skills, the record fuses elements of country and rock for an undeniable hit. Still riding high from his recent inclusion in the Billboard 21 under 21 list, “Ain’t Just A Kid” proves once again that Kidd G is bringing a fresh new perspective to country music.

Earlier this summer, Kidd G kicked off the Rockstar Energy Spotlight Tour with a live “block party style” performance in Nashville. This national Rockstar Energy-curated music program champions new breaking artists by providing fans with a one-of-a-kind consumer experience including live concerts and a state-of-the-art interactive mobile music studio. Though the tour recently came to a close this month, the recorded music from each featured artist will release throughout the summer as the program continues to spotlight voices that are breaking the mold and blurring the lines of traditional music genres. Next, Kidd G will hit the road on The Kidd Next Door Tour kicking off September 3rd in New Brockton, AL.

Kidd G’s recent releases, “Ain’t Just A Kid” and “Karma” follow his explosive collaboration with Breland on the instantly catchy “Dirt Road Remix.” On the smash hit, the Georgia native dives deep into the archives to revive and reinterpret a fan favorite. Bad Realm Records/Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville Platinum artist Breland breathes new life into the record with his smooth vocals and dynamic delivery. “Dirt Road” first appeared on Kidd G’s 2020 debut EP, serving as his first true foray into country music. The original song found the Georgia native seamlessly spitting bars atop an acoustic palette that evoked the feeling of driving freely down a backroad. “Dirt Road Remix” maintains the same sonic fabric, with Kidd G lamenting alongside Breland about a hot-and-cold relationship that he can’t get out of his mind.
