Country phenomenon Kidd G releases his latest record “People Talk” via Rebel Music/Geffen Records. Prior to its release, “People Talk” had already started to catch the attention of fans on TikTok, reaching nearly 36K creates and millions of views on the app to date. On the track, Kidd G’s signature Georgia twang combined with heartfelt hometown-inspired lyrics come together to create an undeniably nostalgia-soaked hit. Kidd G continues to prove himself as the kind of artist that will find fans rooted in the classic country genre and beyond.
An exciting week for Kidd G, “People Talk” arrives directly on the heels of the announcement that he will play at CMA Fest this June, his first major country festival in the US. Kidd G also recently embarked his The Real Me Tour, his second headlining run with stops in his major markets including Nashville, Charleston, and his hometown of Athens, Georgia.
Earlier this month, Kidd G released “Dirt Road Remix” with Breland as the second 2022 release, following January’s “Left Me” featuring YNW BSlime. The uptempo track similarly demands listeners’ full attention as a vulnerable heartbreak anthem. And Kidd G certainly has all eyes and ears on him. Down Home Boy generated more than 15 million streams on Spotify alone. The reception was so warm that a deluxe version of the album arrived in late 2021 with four new tracks.
