Collaboration was performed on Nashville’s Big Bash

King Calaway has released the live version of their track “Good Time To Me (feat. Lainey Wilson).” Joined by Lainey Wilson, King Calaway performed the rowdy song on CBS’ New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash over the weekend.

Setting the honky tonk ablaze, the country music risers packed out Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in downtown Nashville with raving bar-goers, searing vocals and feel-good lyrics, as they performed the roaringly fun track, feeding off the tremendous energy from the crowd.

Ringing in the new year with a “Good Time,” King Calaway and Lainey Wilson’s pumped-up performance is now available on all DSPs.

One of country music’s rapidly rising bands, King Calaway is proof that there’s strength in numbers. Their debut album, Rivers, released October 2019 on BBR Music Group/Stoney Creek Records, featured the hit single “World For Two,” which was the No. 1 most added song at country radio in its debut week. The band has continued to take the country music industry by storm from multiple performances at the famed Grand Ole Opry – including an incredible performance moment with the legendary Ricky Skaggs – to making their late-night television performance debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and an appearance on the internationally acclaimed show Neighbours.

They’ve since brought their energetic live show to various stages, including a CMA Fest debut and opening slots for Rascal Flatts and Garth Brooks. Building on this momentum, the accomplished musicians have spent the past year honing their craft as singer-songwriter instrumentalists and have emerged with a brand-new modern country sound. The band is comprised of Caleb Miller, Chris Deaton, Simon Dumas and Chad Michael Jervis, and their new EP, Midnight, released on August 27th.

Lainey Wilson has earned the enthusiasm of the industry, having been named to nearly every “Artist to Watch” list, winning MusicRow Magazine’s Discovery Artist of the Year award and being crowned Billboard’s “Top New Country Artist of 2021,” the Louisiana native is one of Nashville’s hottest and most buzzed-about new artists. Landing her first No. 1 with her Platinum-certified “Things A Man Oughta Know,” nearly 10 years to the day after leaving her small farming community in a camper trailer to chase her dreams, she has won over legions of fans with her signature Bell Bottom Country sound and aesthetic, which blends traditional country with a modern yet retro flare.

A prolific and sought-after songwriter (having co-writer credits on songs by artists including Luke Combs), Wilson is a fresh, fierce voice in Nashville, delivering one of the Top Country Albums of 2021 with her label debut, Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’. With a rockstar stage presence, her artistry has taken her across the globe, performing for sold out crowds throughout the US, UK, and Germany with notable names like Jason Aldean, Hardy, Justin Moore, Tyler Farr, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser, Josh Turner and more. Her current single, “Never Say Never” with Cole Swindell is Top 30 at country radio and continuing to make a fervent climb up the charts.
