Statue ships in 2023

KnuckleBonz has announced a John Lennon Rock Iconz Limited Edition Statue will be released in early 2023. The hand-crafted figure depicts Lennon in his famous 1970’s era US Army shirt, jacket and pants featured on his 1986 Live in New York album cover. It comes with a round red, white and blue base bearing his name and detachable microphone stand with mic and gold guitar.

The jacket dons the name “Reinhardt” above the right pocket and includes a 2nd Infantry patch, Imjin Scout Regiment patch and Sergeant Chevron stripes on both sleeves. The outfit was gifted to Lennon after an encounter with Sergeant Peter James Reinhardt, who served in South Korea in 1968 and is Lennon’s second most popular outfit.

“It’s very funny, I was in the German Airport, I had an American Army mac on and a guy came up and said, I just got out of the Army in Vietnam and if you’d like these clothes I’d love to give them to you, ‘I said alright,’ and he sent me all these Army clothes in the post, A few years ago it was,” Lennon told Dick Cavett in September 1971.

The John Lennon Rock Iconz statue is officially licensed and is hand-cast, painted and numbered.

The figure is limited to only 3000 created and sold worldwide and is at 1/9 scale, making it approximately 8.5″ tall. The statue will come with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity on the base.

Other Rock Iconz include Metallica, Scorpions, Ghost, AC/DC, Twisted Sister, Black Sabbath and others.
