The fund is named after her No. 1 single

Lainey Wilson has announced her Heart Like A Truck Fund which will actively contribute to a wide range of diverse philanthropic endeavors and organizations aimed to transform lives and offer resources to an array of causes.

Through Heart Like A Truck, Wilson offers vital resources and support to an array of causes, each with a unique story and a shared purpose of creating a brighter, more promising future for individuals and communities in need. This charitable Fund stands as a shining example of the change one heart can bring about in the world.

“I’m so excited to be able to finally do this. To be able to give back because that’s what it’s all about and that’s what I’m finally able to do. The truth is I feel like I’m just in a place where I can do that,” Wilson says. “I think finding certain organizations and charities I’m passionate about, going to all these different cities, and seeing what the need is will really fill my cup. And we all need a little cup filling.”

The country star announced her fund yesterday (Wed, Oct 25th) in an interview with SiriusXM’s The Highway with her fellow Heart Wranglers, Dallas Wilson and Trannie Anderson, ahead of her “Heart Like A Truck” No. 1 Party in Nashville.

Earlier this month, Wilson received her fifth consecutive No. 1 song on country radio with “Watermelon Moonshine” off her critically acclaimed album, Bell Bottom Country. Wilson previously broke the record for the shortest gap between No. 1 singles at country radio this year with her song “Heart Like a Truck” and her “Wait in the Truck” collaboration with Hardy.

Wilson leads the list of 57th Annual CMA Awards nominations with nine, tying Merle Haggard and Miranda Lambert with the feat. Wilson will also perform “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” at the ceremony on November 8th on ABC.

Next year, Wilson will embark on her headlining Country’s Cool Again Tour. Produced by Live Nation, she’ll perform more than 35 shows across North America with Jackson Dean, Ian Munsick, and Zach Top supporting. The trek kicks off in Nashville in May. To celebrate, Wilson will appear in person at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on Friday, October 27th at 8 am local time for a fan event featuring food trucks, giveaways, and more.
