Lainey Wilson releases ‘Hang Tight Honey’

The new single is the latest from her forthcoming third studio album

Lainey Wilson shares “Hang Tight Honey,” the latest from her highly anticipated record, Whirlwind, out August 23rd via Broken Bow Records. Written by Wilson, Driver Williams, Jason Nix, Paul Sikes, and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, Jay Joyce, “Hang Tight Honey” is available at country radio.

Rooted in the spirit of hardworking women, empowerment, and resilience, “Hang Tight Honey,” blends country with elements of 70’s funk and rock into Wilson’s signature sound – creating an instant hit.

With its infectious groove and empowering lyrics, the song celebrates the strength and tenacity of women while also infusing a fresh, contemporary vibe, serving as a testament to Wilson’s artistry and creativity, solidifying her position as a trailblazer in the modern country music scene.

In 2024, Wilson won a Grammy for Best Country Album, People’s Choice Award for Female Country Artist of The Year, a CMT Music Award for Female Video of The Year, and made her Australian touring debut. With no signs of slowing down, fans can catch Wilson on her Country’s Cool Again North American 2024 headlining tour and on the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) stage later this month in Frisco, Texas.

Wilson will open Bell Bottoms Up in partnership with TC Restaurant Group in Nashville this summer. The 27,000-square-foot three-story venue will have two stages, four bars, and a mezzanine floor with a lounge bar that overlooks the first-floor stage and dining area. The rooftop level will house a ’70s Western aesthetic including, a lively dancefloor, disco-inspired décor, and frozen drinks. Guests will get a glimpse of the Bayou through a fun basement-level space slated to open later this summer with craft cocktails, immersive décor, and a live music experience to remember.
