Lana Del Rey shares ‘Henry, Come On’

The song appears on her forthcoming country-tinged album

Lana Del Rey releases her new single, “Henry, Come On,” via Interscope Records. Del Rey wrote the song with mega country music songwriter Luke Laird. The pair also produced the record together with Drew Erickson.

The song has a rock-country sound with Nashville strings and a harp, and marks the first from her forthcoming album, The Right Person Will Stay, slated for release later this year. The country-themed project was initially scheduled to be released in September 2024 under the name Lasso, before being delayed and retitled. Last summer, she released “Tough” with Quavo, featuring a blend of country and hip-hop, folk and pop.

Additional producers include Jack Antonoff and Zach Dawes.

“If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening,” she told Billboard last year at the NMPA Songwriter Awards. “That’s why Jack [Antonoff] has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

Del Rey has previously covered country songs like “Stand by Your Man” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” and has credited some of her earlier songs like “Ride” and “Video Games” as having a country influence.

This month, Lana Del Rey will play Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California on Friday, April 25th.

2025 will also see Lana Del Rey embark upon a sold-out UK and Ireland summer tour which will see her play dates in London, Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Cardiff. It is her first UK and Ireland stadium tour, including two dates at Wembley Stadium.
