The colorful, fun video features Latto and Drill throwing it down in ATL with their friends

Atlanta-based Grammy-nominated rapper Latto links up with fellow ATL rapper and PDE Records signee BabyDrill release “Issa Party” out now via RCA Records. Directed by Shaq Gonzoe & James Rico, the colorful, fun video features Latto and Drill throwing it down in ATL with their friends, Latto’s sister Brooklyn Nicole and even her dog Coca. The visual is bright and playful with dancing and balloons, and you can even spot Latto’s Wingstop Meal collaboration. To celebrate this release, Latto is throwing an ATL party at the iconic Magic City strip club, renamed Latto City for this week’s release.

This release follows her hits “Put It On Da Floor” and the RIAA-certified Gold remix “Put It On Da Floor Again” featuring Cardi B. Debuted at Coachella weekend one this year, “Put It On Da Floor,” produced by Go Grizzly (Future), Squat & Pooh Beatz (Jack Harlow), has garnered millions of streams worldwide across all platforms in addition to landing on multiple playlists. The track debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart, was top 20 on TikTok’s Hot 50 US Chart, and has received co-signs from artists like Lil Nas X, Yung Miami, Lizzo, Coco Jones, Meek Mill and more. The remix debuted at No. 13 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. Its explosive visual had Latto and Cardi B linking up in ATL in addition to cameos from Offset, BabyDrill, Angel Reese, and more.

Latto ended last year hitting the lotto – she garnered two 2023 Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Melodic Rap Performance for “Big Energy (Live),” in addition to winning awards for Best New Artist at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards and BET Awards. The three-time 2022 AMA nominee and four-time 2022 VMA nominee presented at both respective award shows and was announced with the honor of the Breakthrough Artist Award for the 2022 Variety Hitmakers. Latto was also honored with the Powerhouse Award at Billboard’s 2023 Women in Music Awards. Most recently, she won Best Female Rap Artist at the 2023 BET Awards and Song of the Summer for her collaboration with BTS’ Jung-Kook, “Seven,” at the 2023 MTV’S Video Music Awards. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was No. 1 on the Global 200 chart for six weeks in a row, making it one of the longest runs for a track on that chart.

Latto just wrapped a summer festival run in Europe that included Wireless Festival in London, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Rolling Loud Germany, and more. She also attended Milan Fashion Week where she went to various shows including Robert Cavalli, Etro, Blumarine, Diesel and GCDS. With the release of her latest singles and collaborations plus working on her next album, the next chapter of Latto’s career will have more new music, more vibrant visuals and more big energy from The Biggest.
