The song celebrates ten years since the release of her debut album
Two-time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum selling artist Lauren Daigle has released a new song, “Let It Be a Hallelujah,” via Centricity Music. As Daigle looks back on ten years of How Can It Be, “Let It Be a Hallelujah” marks a snapshot between the groundbreaking debut album and her breakthrough smash, Look Up Child. Co-written with the late Busbee and Jonas Myrin, the trio crafted a passionate dedication to living a life that matters, to which Lauren has remained steadfast throughout her career.
“Eight years have passed since we wrote this song, a lot has happened since then,” shares Lauren. “I’m so grateful to have this song back in my life at this time, because had it been released after we’d written it, I wouldn’t have really understood it. The one thing that I can and will keep coming back to is that living a life of worship has never failed me.”
Since her critically acclaimed debut album, How Can It Be, in 2015, Daigle has become a household name, renowned for her moving vocals and relatable lyrics, garnering over one billion streams and selling out US and international tours. She has won two Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and 12 GMA Dove Music Awards, but through it all, she has remained steadfast in her faith and passion for sharing messages of hope and positivity with all those who cross her path.
