Lecade releases ‘Blind’

The song is the latest in his growing catalog

Lecade doesn’t hold back on his new track “Blind,” a charged heartbreak anthem that depicts a lover’s lackluster attempt to conceal her unfaithfulness. Built on lively guitar, steady drums and a smooth vocal delivery, the track via Big Machine Records offers an unfiltered look at a relationship unraveling under the weight of deceit. Written by Lecade alongside Beau Bailey, Brandon Manley, Cole Miracle and Justin Holt, “Blind” captures the boiling point of betrayal – when the warning signs can no longer be ignored and the suspicion becomes certainty.

While putting the pieces together, Lecade calls out the lies and late nights, leaning into the bitterness and disbelief that it ever got this far. The up-and-coming country artist continues to embrace confessional songwriting, delivering the kind of honesty that resonates with fans who have lived through similar pain with its slow-burning production and cut-to-the-core lyrics.

“‘Blind’ is a song that came from a time in my life that I find myself still carrying with me sometimes. It’s about loving hard, losing harder, and realizing sometimes we don’t see the truth until it’s right in front of us,” shares Lecade. “This is a really personal and honest piece of music to me, and I hope it makes people who might relate feel seen and heard.”

“Blind” follows the releases of three other tracks from Lecade this year: “Love Me Anyway,” “Hope It Kills Me” featuring Sterling Elza, and “Liver.” With more than three million monthly listeners and 100 million streams globally to date, Lecade is just getting started. He’ll perform at Farm Jam Music Festival in Colville, WA, on August 31st before opening for Brantley Gilbert in Portsmouth, VA, on September 13th as part of Gilbert’s The Tattoos Tour.
