Lenny Kravitz releases second remix package

“Let It Ride” gets an eight-track collection

Lenny Kravitz has released the second chapter of his remix series for dance floor anthem “Let It Ride.” This new installment includes reworked tracks from HoneyLuv, Notre Dame, Solardo, Ultra Naté, and others, all of whom add an electrifying touch to the fan-favorite synth-funk workout from 2024’s Blue Electric Light.

The versatile artist’s love letter to the nightclubs, “Let It Ride” has received global support, praised by tastemakers and radio stations. That momentum has propelled the song as a New Entry this week on both of Music Week’s Upfront and Pop Club charts.

Kravitz launched the remix series in early April, first with a deep-house version by Welsh DJ Jamie Jones, followed by a version by French DJ-producer Kungs and, finally, a seven-track package titled Let It Ride Remixes, Pt. 1. Tied to the initial announcement, he released the song’s self-directed video—his debut in that medium.

“Let It Ride” is a standout from Blue Electric Light, Kravitz’s acclaimed 12th LP. The album, featuring a quartet of genre-spanning singles (“TK421,” “Human,” “Paralyzed,” and “Honey”), earned some of the songwriter’s most glowing reviews to date. He continues to promote the project on tour, with shows booked throughout the fall; his recently launched North American leg continues June 1st at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia.
