The song & visualizer are available now

Chicago-bred production duo Louis The Child releases their new single “I’m Not Giving Up” with fellow dance duo, Memba. The track, which Louis The Child has been teasing during their live shows, is their first release of 2024 and is a song about perseverance and self-encouragement. The anthemic, future bass tune combines the pair’s famous punchy, hard-hitting synths with Memba’s signature drums and production flare. “I’m Not Giving Up” is available now via Interscope Records.

“We’ve been playing this song in our shows for what probably feels like forever to our fans,” Louis the Child shares. “It’s got a drop that feels very signature to us, it’s big and hits you like a ton of bricks. We made it with our friends Memba, who are some of the most talented producers we’ve ever worked with.”

“We’ve been massive LTC fans since they dropped their ‘Blasé remix back in the day,” Memba shares. “That was before Memba even existed. Will and I were in the crowd moshing out to their wild future bass stuff and always look back on that era so fondly. Fast forward a few years, and we got in the studio with the lads, and lo and behold, a future bass tune flowed out. Most of the song was finished in one sitting. We have been playing it out for a while now and the response has been insaneee. Who said future bass is dead?”

Louis The Child floats through electronic, pop, and alternative with wide-eyed wonder, adventurous spirit, and the elation of being present. Since 2013, the Chicago-bred duo—Freddy Kennett and Robby Hauldren—have popped off as a phenomenon garnering over 1.9 billion streams worldwide and being endorsed by pop royalty such as Taylor Swift and Lorde. Their hit single “Better Not” with Wafia is officially certified Platinum by the RIAA. Following the duo’s 2020 debut album Here For Now and their 2020 mixtape Candy 2, Louis The Child marked 2021 the Euphoria Era during which they released their Euphoria EP. In 2022, Louis The Child unveiled their project, Black Marble, a 17-track instrumental tape that explores the duo’s clubbier sensibilities, functions as a seamless DJ set, and is accompanied by film noir-inspired visuals. In 2023, Louis The Child delivered a slew of incredible singles including “Daybreak” with Zachary Knowles, “Walls” with Claire Rosinkranz, “How High,” and “Stay With Me” with Absolutely, and secured a residency at the Resorts World in Las Vegas, which they will be continuing in 2024. This year will bring tons of new music and live shows from Louis The Child, as they continue to prove themselves as one of the most exciting acts in dance music.

Architects of sound design and voyagers of unexplored realities, the Brooklyn-based production duo Memba has steadily elevated their status over the past few years by crafting electronic music that is propped up by a rich tapestry of ancient world rhythms. Memba charted globally with their song “For Aisha,” a tribute to Ishaan’s sister. The past few years have seen Memba play EDC, Coachella, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Shambhala, Ultra, and Glastonbury, to name a few. They have supported Odesza, Jai Wolf, Hermitude, and Clozee on tour, priming them for their own debut headline run in 2022. Now, fresh off the heels of their self-released East Meets West EP in December 2023, Memba is looking ahead to a new year filled with more music and transportive shows that will bring both new and current fans alike into their artistically arcane world.
