The album will drop on June 14th

Just in time for Father’s Day, Luke Combs will release Father & Sons, a new album dedicated to his sons Tex and Beau, on June 14th via Sony Music Nashville. A collection of 12 poignant tracks, the album was recorded entirely live and features Combs’ most personal songwriting to date, as he reflects on his own experiences being a dad to his two sons and the unique bond between parents and their children and features “The Man He Sees in Me,” available now.

“‘The Man He Sees in Me’ is a song for my sons to let them know I will always love them no matter what. And for them to know even though I’m not perfect, I try my hardest every day to be the best version of myself for both of them,” Combs shares. “I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days they’ll be sick of their old man I’m sure, but dang we’re going to have some fun too. I look forward to seeing what they both turn out to be like, and I hope someday down the road I get to watch them and their kids do the same.”

CD and LP offerings are available via Combs’ website.

The album drops during another triumphant year for Combs, whose new single, “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” was released last month from the Twisters movie soundtrack, coming July 19th.

Additionally, Combs is in the midst of his record-breaking Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old stadium tour, which includes old-out, back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium, Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium, Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium, Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium and Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium among others.

Combs also recently performed an unforgettable duet of “Fast Car” with Tracy Chapman during the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. The performance was the culmination of a massive year for “Fast Car,” as Combs’ version of the song won Single of the Year at the 2023 CMA Awards (with Chapman winning Song of the Year). It also spent five consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and reached No. 1 on the Hot AC chart, the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both. The two-time platinum single, which has garnered over 1.1 billion global streams to date, also spent 18 weeks in the top 5 of Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart, eight of which were spent at No. 2.

“Fast Car” is featured on Combs’ most recent album, Gettin’ Old—a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, Growin’ Up. Produced by Combs, Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton, Gettin’ Old further establishes Combs as one of music’s most authentic and powerful voices.

A Grand Ole Opry member and 11-time CMA, four-time ACM, six-time Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs has also partnered with Opry Entertainment Group to open a massive multi-level entertainment complex in downtown Nashville, expected to open this summer. He’s also the subject of the Country Music Hall of Fame’s latest exhibit, Luke Combs: The Man I Am, featuring photographs, childhood memorabilia, instruments, set lists, and more throughout his life and career.
