Short film comes to digital outlets Nov 4th

Maren Morris has announced Humble Quest: In Rare Form, a short film with seven reimagined tracks from her latest album, Humble Quest. The film will drop on Friday, November 4th at digital outlets.

“This came as an idea to me near the end of my tour when my band and I had worked so hard every show to find new moments to make each performance magical and unique,” she shares. “We were able to reimagine the songs of Humble Quest in this very stripped, beautiful form at sunset on a hill in North Carolina. No lighting, no bells and whistles, just Mother Nature, music and friendship. Oh, and some pretty good gin & tonics.”

It drops four days after a cryptic Halloween tweet teasing the project.

“I don’t do tricks but I’ve got a treat coming for you Friday. 🪵🔥” she tweets.

Upon its release in March, Humble Quest debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The album also broke an Amazon Music record for the most first day and first week streams globally for an album released by a female country artist.

The album contains 11 tracks that were conceived during the pandemic, including the debut single, “Circles Around This Town.” It’s produced by Greg Kurstin and features songs written with husband Ryan Hurd, pop star Julia Michaels, Jimmy Robbins, Natalie Hemby, Laura Veltz and Jon Green.
