Maren Morris releases ‘Songline’ through Amazon Music

The set features eight reimagined versions of hits

Amazon Music debuts a brand-new installment of its acclaimed Songline series spotlighting Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Maren Morris. The docu-performance episode will feature eight reimagined versions of her hit songs, including “My Church,” “The Middle,” “Lemonade,” and more, giving viewers an intimate look into her creative process and the stories behind the songs.

A series dedicated to the craft of songwriting, Songline invites some of today’s most intriguing artists to reimagine their music in a stripped-down, intimate setting. Each performance is intercut with in-depth interviews with the artist, allowing songwriters to demystify the songwriting process and share their origins and cultural journeys with their fans.

Alongside the release, Amazon Music debuted an exclusive performance video of Morris’s new rendition of “The Middle.”

“Reimagining my songs in this way really let me play into different vocals and moods for each one. Amazon Music has always been such a wonderful creative partner and I’m so happy they gave me the creative space to rework some of my favorite songs of my career,” Morris says.

The full collection of videos, featuring “The Middle” as well as the seven additional reimagined tracks, “To Hell & Back,” “My Church,” “RSVP,” “Lemonade,” “Too Good,” “Dreamsicle,” and “Grand Bouquet” and their companion live performances, will be available exclusively to Amazon Music subscribers in the Amazon Music app.
