Songs are released ahead of Mother’s Day
Just in time for Mother’s Day, Grammy Award-winning, global superstar (and now soon-to-be mom of two) Meghan Trainor unwraps her “Mother (Remixes)” via Epic Records. She recharged her empowering anthem with three new remixes courtesy of Ellis, secs on the beach, and j.bird – Trainor’s younger brother Justin Trainor. With an infusion of hyper dance floor-ready energy and unlimited sass, these remixes each add another dimension to the iconic singer’s most recent smash.
“Mother” has taken popular culture by storm. Thus far, it has tallied over 82 million worldwide streams and counting. The headline-making music video—starring mother-of-all-mothers Kris Jenner—has piled up 25 million YouTube views. Additionally, it cracked the Top 20 at both Hot AC and Pop Radio in addition to inspiring over 2.6 million TikTok creations worldwide with north of 1.3 billion views.
Of course, “Mother” originally graced the track listing of the Deluxe Edition of her acclaimed album Takin’ It Back, available everywhere.
Takin’ It Back (Deluxe Edition) includes the album’s original 16 tracks as well as three new tracks – “Mother,” “Grow Up,” and “Special Delivery” featuring MAX. The album also includes the Remix of “Made You Look” featuring Kim Petras. Meanwhile, smash hit “Made You Look” also secured a No. 1 spot on the Hot AC. Thus far, it has generated over half-a-billion streams and counting.
