The trek kicks off in late March
On the heels of wrapping her incredibly successful co-headline Yes We Are Tour with Indigo Girls and the release of her new single “Don’t You Want A Woman,” Melissa Etheridge has announced her 2026 The Rise Tour.
Etheridge will hit the road for The Rise Tour on March 26th at Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit and will travel across the States, hitting Burlington, Portland, Poughkeepsie, Winston-Salem, Tulsa, Austin and more before wrapping on May 9th at the Weldon Mills Theatre in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
As a special treat to fans, Etheridge also dropped the fierce and rocking new music video for “Don’t You Want A Woman.” The long-awaited new single was released on October 10th and has been four years in the making, according to Etheridge, who added, “Women are some of my favorite people and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t want a woman in their life who is going to rock their world in every way.”
The video was directed by Etheridge’s wife, acclaimed writer and producer Linda Wallem Etheridge, and edited by Etheridge herself. Filmed in the iconic CPKC Stadium, the video captures the song’s electric energy and sets the tone for what’s to come on her upcoming The Rise Tour.
When asked about taking on the direction of the video, Linda said, “Making the ‘Don’t You Want A Woman’ music video with Melissa at KC Starlight and CPKC Stadium for the KC Current was an absolute honor and blast.” She added, “KC BABY!” – a nod to the KC Current chant that Melissa will lead on November 2nd during the team’s game against the San Diego Wave.
