The four-pack will be released on Halloween
Metallica has teamed with Funko for the fifth time to release collectible figures in the Pop! Rocks collection for their latest album, 72 Seasons, on Halloween. Fans can get their hands on the complete band bundle, including frontman James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett, and bassist Robert Trujillo as stylized Pop! vinyl figures. Each figure stands approximately 3.8 inches tall and comes in a window display box.
The set of four is available through Metallica’s website and Funko directly.
Additional Metallica x Funko collaborations include multiple sets featuring the band’s current lineup from different eras.
There are special Deluxe Pop! Albums that feature the band members as figures, along with the album cover art, are in a protective hard case, like Master of Puppets, which features Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammett, and the late Cliff Burton on a stage with a graveyard of crosses backdrop.
One such set is based on Metallica’s The Black Album, which includes grayscale figures of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Jason Newsted to match the album’s color scheme.
A figure representing Lady Justice from the album cover of …And Justice for All has also been released.
Ulrich has confirmed that the legendary metal band is interested in playing the Sphere in Las Vegas. Ulrich recently told Howard Stern that, “It’s something that we’re considering, [but] nothing is etched in stone or green-lit. It’s something that we’re looking at at some point when the 2026 tour is done.”
