The band served 23 organizations with more than $1 million
Metallica made the European leg of its M72 World Tour memorable for many organizations. The band provided nearly $1.4 million to 23 charitable organizations during its two-week run via its All Within My Hands Foundation (AWMH).
“We want to thank all of you who made the 2024 European run of the M72 World Tour so memorable! Not only did you share 14 awesome nights with us, but you also helped us give back to 23 charitable organizations doing critical work,” the band shares. “And huge thanks to our European Tour sponsors, Iveco Group, for matching our dollars and allowing us to make a greater impact!”
The group will keep on giving during its US run as All Within My Hands donates to Support+Feed. The initiative will help “us feed people and reduce waste at the same time.”
Support+Feed is a non-profit organization founded by Maggie Baird, mother of Grammy Award-winning artists Billie Eilish and Finneas, committed to mitigating climate change and increasing food security by driving global demand, acceptance, and accessibility of plant-based food. They’ll be helping AWMH provide plant-based meal deliveries and host volunteer opportunities during our shows in the States.
The two-year trek wraps this fall with a pair of shows in Mexico City on September 27th and 29th. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold benefits the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation. Founded in 2017, AWMH’s efforts to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band have raised nearly $13 million – providing $5.9 million in grants to career and technical education programs in the US, over $2.5 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.2 million to disaster relief efforts worldwide.
