The clip is his first from his upcoming album
Solrise Records/Virgin Music Group’s Nashville-based Australian country mainstay, Morgan Evans, is treating fans to a “Beer Back Home” in the all-new single’s official music video, out everywhere.
Filmed on location in Sydney and Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, during Evans’ return to his home country last month, and captured/directed by Peter John, the official video captures Evans’ weeks-long trip from his perspective.
The three-minute clip intersperses footage of Evans making the journey from Nashville to Australia, reuniting with family and friends, and surprising fans with a pop-up performance at his favorite hometown pub, The Ship Inn, with sing-along performance clips throughout.
Next month, Evans will continue his globe-trekking Beer Back Home pop-up shows with a one-night-only takeover at Old Mates Pub in New York City on December 3rd.
“Beer Back Home” is Evans’ first single in over two years – a period of reflection spent in Newcastle, which saw him tapping into a deep vein of creativity. Ultimately, that centering period in Australia brought him back to Nashville with a renewed passion for crafting songs that resonate on a global scale. That full journey and reflective energy will be captured on his upcoming sophomore album, Steel Town, out on March 20th.
