The group was set to headline an arena in Palm Springs

Mötley Crüe has canceled its planned 2023 Crüe Year’s Eve show in Palm Springs. The band shared the news ten days before the performance was scheduled for Acrisure Arena.

“It is with deep regret we must inform you the Crüe Year’s Eve show in Palm Springs is being canceled. The very short timeframe to produce the event resulted in issues beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024!” the group shares on social media.

Mötley’s 2024 touring plans include two shows at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino Atlantic City on May 3rd and 4th as well as headlining slots at Welcome to Rockville 2024 and Summerfest 2024. The group will also perform two Canadian shows in July.

The band is prepping new music in 2024. Bassist and co-founder Nikki Sixx confirms tracks with new guitarist John 5 are on the way with additional music with The Lion King co-director Rob Minkoff.

“Yes, @MotleyCrue will be releasing new music is 2024 and separately yes I am working with @RobMinkoff developing a new music related animation project. Good times ahead,” he tweets.

Bob Rock has been tapped to produce the songs, the band’s first new music since 2019’s The Dirt.
