“World on Fire” tops the country radio charts

Powerhouse vocalist Nate Smith is capping off a breakout year with his smash single “World On Fire” burning up the country radio charts. The song has reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, earning Smith his second consecutive chart-topping single just this year. “World On Fire,” Smith’s second single to go to country radio, follows his Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 debut single “Whiskey On You,” which hit No. 1 in January. Only 19 songs went to No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart this year, two of which belong to Smith.

With over 120 million global streams to date, the breakup hit is one of 26 tracks on Smith’s self-titled album and deluxe version was released on April 28th. Upon its release, the project achieved the largest album debut from a new artist this year as well as the largest full-length album debut from a new artist since 2020. The album hit No. 6 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and No. 30 overall on the Billboard Top 200. Nate Smith also includes RIAA Gold-certified hits “Wreckage” and “Under My Skin.” Smith now has over a billion total career streams worldwide.

Smith is set to bring his fiery vocals to 21 cities at the top of next year with his World on Fire Tour 2024. Rising singer-songwriter Dylan Schneider will join Smith on his cross-country trek for the first 20 dates, and Aidan Canfield will open the final show of the tour.
