Neon City Festival to take over Downtown Las Vegas this fall

A first-of-its-kind music, art & culinary event will be free throughout downtown

The Entertainment Capital of the World is about to get more entertaining. The inaugural Neon City Festival (NCF) – a first-of-its-kind music and culinary event – will take over the streets of downtown Las Vegas November 22-24, 2024. Reminiscent of Las Vegas’ most prolific festivals and entertainment moments, Neon City Festival is free for guests of all ages and will feature headlining talent across multiple musical genres, local food & beverage vendors, art shows, fireworks and much more.

Described as a “festival without fences,” the event will transform downtown Las Vegas into a sprawling, open-air playground, spanning the world-famous Fremont Street Experience and eclectic destinations within the Arts District, all the way down Las Vegas Blvd. to The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower. Created by downtown Las Vegas casino owner Derek Stevens – with support from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) – and overseen by appointed Neon City Festival CEO Jeff Victor, the event was conceived to show appreciation for Las Vegas locals and visitors.

“This particular weekend in Las Vegas is set to be exceptionally busy, so we wanted to create a major event that appeals to a variety of ages and demographics,” states Victor. “During Neon City Festival, no matter where you are, your senses will be on overdrive. Whether it’s a mind-blowing performance from your favorite artists, incredible food or even a fireworks show, you’ll be captivated at every turn. We’re grateful to the Neon City Festival founding partners in downtown Las Vegas and the city of Las Vegas for their collaboration on bringing this vision to life.”

Neon City Festival Highlights include a diverse range of headlining talent playing across multiple stages downtown, including Fremont Street Experience’s three stages and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center; food and drink specials from local Las Vegas restaurants and bars; captivating moments such as laser art shows, strolling entertainment and a special 3D-motion graphic show on “Viva Vision,” the world’s largest LED canopy screen; and city-wide entertainment featuring block parties, pop-up performances, street festivals and surprises from beloved downtown attractions.

“Las Vegas has consistently proven itself as an excellent destination for festivals of all sizes and types, whether centered around food, music, culture and more,” Stevens says. “Neon City Festival allows us to tap into the incredible offerings NCF’s founding partners already provide and combine them for the ultimate party weekend, featuring top-of-the-line entertainment and surprises along the way. We can’t wait to kick off year one and to ideally turn this into an annual event.”

Neon City Festival’s founding partners include Stevens (Circa Resort & Casino, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, the D Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center), the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), Boyd Corp. (Fremont Hotel & Casino, California Hotel Casino, Main Street Station), Terry Caudill (Binion’s Gambling Hall and 4 Queens Hotel & Casino), Chris Latil (Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel & Casino), Jonathan Jossel (Plaza Hotel & Casino), Blake Sartini (The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower), Joe Woody (El Cortez Hotel & Casino) and Eric Buksa (Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino).

Headlining talent will be announced in the coming weeks.
