The disc features bonus content

The Nickelback documentary, Hate to Love: The Nickelback Story, is coming to Blu-ray on January 16th via Bit Bot Media.

Get ready to dive deep into the highs, the lows, and everything in between with Hate to Love: The Nickelback Story, available as a region-free deluxe Blu-ray Mediabook. This critically acclaimed documentary by director Leigh Brooks pulls back the curtain on the band’s meteoric rise, global success, and the unexpected backlash that made them a cultural phenomenon.

The documentary focuses on the band’s incredible rise and the unique cultural phenomenon that followed, specifically addressing the early wave of online negativity and “hate” that they faced despite their overwhelming commercial success. The band members provide open, honest, and revealing accounts of their journey.

The set includes a 20-page collector’s booklet filled with behind-the-scenes moments, tour flyers, and exclusive essays that capture the essence of Nickelback’s journey. It also features an outtakes reel featuring candid interviews, hilarious backstage antics, and extended scenes that didn’t make the final cut.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2023 before being released as a limited two-night cinematic engagement in March 2024. The film currently streams on Netflix.
