The new single is available at all digital outlets

Rising K-pop superstar group NMIXX has released their latest single “Soñar (Breaker)” via JYP Entertainment/Imperial/Republic Records on all digital and streaming platforms. The track is a pre-release from the group’s forthcoming EP, Fe3O4: Break, out digitally on Monday, January 15th, and physically on Friday, January 19th.

“Soñar” means “dream” in Spanish, and the track itself takes listeners on a dreamlike, pastel-hued journey where anything is possible. The track begins with a grand cinematic intro before switching to other genres like Latin hip-hop and UK Garage. In typical NMIXX fashion, the track is an epic blend of genres and sounds grounded by a heavy rhythm in a harmony of bold rap and pitch-perfect vocals.

The release marks the end of an incredible 2023 for NMIXX. The group released their first EP, Expérgo, in March, which earned them their first career entry on the Billboard 200 Chart, and the EP’s pre-released single, “Young, Dumb, Stupid,” took the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs Chart. Following Expérgo’s success, the group spent the summer on their first-ever tour, the NMIXX Showcase Tour Nice to Mixx You, visiting 13 cities across the US in addition to stops across Asia.

NMIXX is a South Korean girl group formed by SQU4D, a sub-label of JYP Entertainment. Consisting of Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin, NMIXX debuted in February 2022 with the single “Ad Mare” that featured the title track “O.O.”

The name NMIXX combines the letter “N,” which stands for “now,” “new,” “next,” and the unknown “n” and the word “mix,” which symbolizes combination and diversity, altogether meaning “the best combination for a new era.” NMIXX’s debut single “Ad Mare” introduces a new genre called Mixx pop, packed with the confidence and ambition of a new group ready to take on the world. It blends two or more genres into one flavorful song and represents the unusual experiment of NMIXX.
