Old Dominion announce ballpark tour; release new single

Shows will include a variety of guests at select stops

Old Dominion has announced it will perform at seven baseball parks this summer. The Live From The Ballpark trek starts July 17th in Jackson, TN with stops in Fresno, CA; Traverse City, MI; Altoona, PA; Idaho Falls, ID; Wichita, KS and Omaha, NE. Scotty McCreery, Randy Houser, Matt Stell, Blanco Brown, Caitlyn Smith and Walker County will support select shows.

“This is literally the moment we’ve all been waiting for!” the band shares in tour announcement. “Weโ€™ve all gone through it the last year. Now, itโ€™s time to get back together, forget everything for a few hours, and have a great time.”

On Friday (May 14th), the band released a new single, “I Was on a Boat That Day,” to celebrate. The band co-wrote the track with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

The band — frontman Matthew Ramsey, guitarist-songwriter Brad Tursi, bassist Geoff Sprung, keyboard-guitarist Trevor Rosen, and drummer Whit Sellers — have notched seven No. 1s at country radio, surpassed one billion on-demand streams, singles โ€œNo Such Thing As A Broken Heartโ€ and โ€œWritten in the Sandโ€ earning platinum certifications and โ€œHotel Keyโ€ earning a gold, from their gold certified sophomore album Happy Endings, and headlining arenas and amphitheaters across the globe.
