The concert will be streamed on YouTube

Oliva Rodrigo is set to perform an intimate concert for American Express cardholders on Monday (Oct 9th) to celebrate the release of her latest album Guts. The credit card company announced the concert on Sunday morning (Oct 8th), one hour before tickets went on sale at 10 am via AXS. The event will take place at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles and will stream on the pop star’s YouTube channel on Tuesday (Oct 10th).

“I’ve been excited by the response to Guts and I can’t wait to perform live for my fans,” Rodrigo shares in a press release. “Partnering with American Express for my Guts World Tour, the Guts Gallery pop-up experiences, and now this intimate performance for my fans means so much. Since we’re making the show available on my YouTube during Member Week, Livies around the world can get a sneak preview of what’s to come on tour!”

Last month, Rodrigo celebrated “Vampire” returning to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and Guts claiming the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 at the same time. With 3.7 million in global song consumption since its release, “Vampire” entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1 on July 10th and set the Spotify record for the biggest debut for a solo song in 2023 and ultimately shot to No. 1 at Top 40 radio. All 11 songs on Rodrigo’s debut Sour hit the Hot 100’s top 40 in 2021 as well. Rodrigo becomes the first artist to chart all songs from two career-opening albums in the Hot 100’s top 40.

Released via Geffen Records on September 8th, Guts is the follow-up to her debut album Sour, which also opened atop US and International charts. Guts outsold Sour in both the US and the UK and debuted at No. 1 in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.

Rodrigo will kick off her first-ever arena tour on February 23, 2024, in Palm Springs, CA at Acrisure Arena, with stops across North America and Europe. Due to incredible fan demand, 18 new dates have been added to the Guts World Tour. The run now includes four nights at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, The O2 in London and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The Breeders, PinkPantheress, Chappell Roan and Remi Wolf will join on select dates. Additional tour stops in different countries will be announced at a later date. A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will go to Rodrigo’s newly established Fund 4 Good, a global initiative committed to building an equitable and just future for all women and girls through direct support of community-based non-profits that champion girls’ education, support reproductive rights and prevent gender-based violence.
