Superstar becomes the first Latin artist to own champagne brand

Global Latin music icon Ozuna recently completed the purchase of his own luxury champagne brand, Vocation. The multi-award-winning Puerto Rican singer-songwriter continues to expand his business footprint and diversify his business portfolio, beyond his record-breaking musical career.

Ozuna, who considers himself a wine lover, took advantage of his summer tour in Europe to visit the vineyards where the product is harvested and to finalize the brand acquisition transaction, which he has been working on for the past three years. With this, he becomes the first Latin artist to have his own champagne brand.

The internationally renowned idol named his champagne brand Vocation to highlight his affinity for the production process of this rare and exquisite wine, drawing the parallel to his passion and vocation with which he composes and produces his own music. The artist and entrepreneur was also fully involved in every detail of the product’s development. The label design has the peculiarity that it glows in the dark, thus carrying his stamp of creativity and authenticity in a modern and striking way, but without losing heritage and tradition.

“I am very happy to be able to venture into this new project and have the opportunity to shape my own brand of champagne, putting my personal touch on it and creating an experience that truly reflects my vision. This is another dream come true,” Ozuna shares.

La Maison Haton, which produces Vocation, is one of the most renowned champagne boutiques in the Champagne region of France, run by a fifth generation in charge of carrying on the centuries-old family tradition. Founded in 1928, the family-owned business owns its vineyards in the best qualified areas of the region, where the product is harvested by hand and elaborated with traditional and meticulous methods, with the purpose of providing the consumer with an excellent product.

Vocation is a Blanc de Noirs, made exclusively with 60% Pinot Meunier and 40% Pinot Noir black grapes. It is currently available for sale in Puerto Rico and San Martín, distributed by CC1 Companies; New York; New Jersey; and Miami, with distribution plans next year in various states of the United States and in the Dominican Republic.

With this new acquisition, Ozuna solidifies his commitment to continue expanding his creative vision into the business world, through strategic partnerships and innovative opportunities that guide him to conquer new business horizons.
