Latin star releases new single & video
Global Latin music icon Ozuna is back with his latest must-hear single “G Wagon,” available now at all digital outlets. Just two weeks after debuting “Deprimida,” his first single of 2022, the multi award-winning singer and songwriter of Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage surprises his millions of fans around the world with his new single and video, directed by Fernando Lugo.
The lyrics of “G Wagon” tell a story of heartbreak and spite through the expressive and melodic voice of this multifaceted singer, who also stars in the action-packed music video. This single reaffirms Ozuna’s mastery of Latin trap, a genre with which he has led the way with iconic hits such as “En La Intimidad” (2016), his collaboration on the remix of “La Ocasión” (2016), and “El Farsante” (2018), to name a few.
“Trap is one of my favorite rhythms to record, because I feel like it’s part of my artistic essence and it gives me plenty of space to be creative,” Ozuna shares. “Furthermore, my fans love hearing me sing it. That’s why I felt like it was time to release ‘G Wagon.’ It’s very important to me to keep creating and mixing rhythms and styles alongside my production team, so I can continue evolving. I have a diverse variety of new music ready to go that will cater to people’s different tastes.”
“G Wagon” was created by Ozuna along with the track’s producers Came Beats and Hi Flow. Among his upcoming plans, this year he will release his album Ozutochi, which includes “Deprimida,” the song surpassed 44 million views on YouTube just two weeks after its release.
He kicked off the year with the massive hit “Santo,” where he joined Christina Aguilera. After this success and his two latest singles, there’s no doubt that 2022 will be another triumph for Ozuna. He recently received RIAA sales certifications for his two most recent albums – 6x Platinum for Enoc (2020) and 4x Platinum for Nibiru (2019).
